The Adventures of Kawekakea and A Digital Classroom

How To ……

Tutorials, instructions or videos explaining how to……. do stuff! Just click on the links.

Use / Add to VoiceThread
Our login is mshrm18@taradaleint.school.nz and you know what our password is.

Remember to switch identities BEFORE you add a note or record your voice. Make sure you click on OK when VoiceThread asks you to allow your microphone. Listen to your audio before you click save. (Video tutorial coming soon)

Use / Add to our Del.icio.us account
Our login is room18tis and you know what our password is - but don’t forget the number too!

Remember that there’s no need to remember all those URL’s anymore! We’re using our del.icio.us account to keep track of all our links. Remember that our wikispace also has many of the links that we use on it too. Mum and Dad can easily see what we’re up to in class as well.

If you want to add a URL to our del.icio.us account - just click on post and remember to tag it. (You will need to be logged in to do this).

Create a Voki
You need to sign up for a voki account first.
(My students need to remember to have their parents permission to do this).
You will need a microphone plugged into your computer (you may borrow Ms H’s ones from school - write your name on the board if you take one home). You will need an email address to sign up for voki and you will need to verify your voki account before you can create a voki. Just click on the link in the email voki will send you when you first sign up. Be aware that this email might go straight to the junkmail box so check there too.
